On Thursday 15th September 2016, it was announced at a glittering event, that MAPS has been selected as one of GamesAid chosen charities for 2016!
GamesAid is the charitable arm of the UK video games industry. Thanks to the sensational fundraising skills and efforts of the UK Games Industry folk, MAPS was gifted a generous donation that will allow us to support even more vulnerable children and young people within our community.
Helen Gasparelli MAPS Manager said “I am overwhelmed with love and gratitude for our friends in the UK Video Games Industry who have gifted us this unbelievable amount of money. This essential funding will enable us to support vulnerable young people in Sutton who face multiple challenges in their everyday lives. I can’t thank GamesAid and all their members enough”.
